Fabrication
Furin and Shea’s shop facility sits on a four acre parcel in the industrial park in Hibbing, Minnesota.
The fabrication shop has 11,000 square feet of floor space.
There is a 6,500 square foot enclosed cold storage building on site.
The sand blast and heated paint bays occupy 3,000 square feet at the rear of the cold storage building.
The production floor has been staffed with as many as thirty five employees at a time in the fields of welding, sand blasting, painting, shipping / receiving and delivery.
Administration
Furin and Shea’s office building sits on a one and one half acre site and has a clean shop space in the rear as well as heated storage.
The building has a total office area of 2,400 square feet.
Engineering
Furin and Shea has an engineering department with full cad capabilities to handle all detailing and design services as well as the programming of cnc equipment.
The department has four designers at work stations set up with the latest edition of Autocad by Autodesk and two of these stations are additionally equiped with the latest edition of Solidworks by Dassault Systems. The engineering department’s designers have a combined industry experience of over fifty years.
